If you are interested in volunteering in the Springfield City Schools or lending support in other ways to the students and educational programs of the district, please call the school offices or the Superintendent's Office at 937-505-2805.

There are opportunities for parents and community members to volunteer, depending on the needs of the schools, teachers and students, like advisory councils, clubs for mothers and dads, Boosters, Partners In Education, OhioReads PLUS mentoring/ tutoring by those 55+, and other possibilities. Every year, thousands of volunteers provide hours of service to students, staff and SCS--supporting learning and the success of Springfield City Schools. Involvement of residents with the city schools makes the educational experience for every child more valuable, builds a stronger school system, and gives back to the volunteer in good measure. We welcome your participation and ideas.
